the pancakes came from canada ???|||They have french toast and canadian bacon|||They are well-known, not especially for the great food, but, open all night, have a variety, and cost effective, and they are everywhere.|||They serve Swiss and French style crepes which can be considered pancakes.|||I have asked myself this question many, many times. I think that what makes it international is the International put into its name. So now it is IHOP, and not just HOP.

I honestly have no clue, man. XD|||That there is one on many countries maybe???|||When they first opened, they had pancake versions from several countries besides the U.S. Over the years, they have changed the menu to make it more generic. I think that is why they started calling themselves IHOP.|||I have been told before, that this is just a name thing. That international in the name just adds a sort of credibility to the franchise.|||University students from many countries visit the IHOP because the food is cheap.|||They serve French Pancakes, Swedish Pancakes, Belgian waffles, and all kinds of wonderful things!|||they are delicous|||There's a bunch of immigrants working there.
