Hello, I am a Bangalorean with a small family (wife & a kid 2yr old). Got an employment offer in Landmark Group (Al Bandar Intl House for Trading Co) with a salary of SAR 10000/-. Would like to know few details. Which area in Al-khobar is good to live with affordable house rent (may be between 1000 to 1300SAR per month ). What is the apprx Cost of groceries (like rice per kg/dal per kg/oil/fruit/ etc etc), Internet (unlimited access), cable TV (can I bring DishTV set top box from India? How), Transportation (Rent a car, commute by bus/sharing taxi service), buying a new/second hand small cars (like Maruti WagonR/Alto/Swift). Getting a driving license cost/duration. If i have a comfortable family expenses, how much i can expect to save? For getting the house, do i need to contact Agent/broker. How much do i need to pay to him. Other than agent if any other route, pl tell me. How is the rent paid (is it in monthly advance payment/ 10 months rent in advacne like here in Bangalore)? Pl reply with details.
