Restaurants have the freedom to post nutritional information (including calories) on their menus or not. If they all choose not to, I don't care.

California quackery continues.|||You are not crazy to think this is an attempt to take away your right to eat the foods you want. This is how anti-smoking movement started. It started with warning labels, then stronger warnings, and then bans in public places, then bans in private places. The government has effectively eliminated smoking by creating work-around laws that restrict its use to the point where no one can use it all. Now fast food is the next target of these big government people. |||You do have the option of 49 other states....

That's the beauty of the USA.|||freedom from what? information? if you dont want to read it,dont read it. but come on,dont ask intentionally to have information kept from you. that's silly.|||It's not to going to stop most fat people from eating fatty foods.

But, even if it helps a few people, that's a few people with less health problems to clog our healthcare system with. And then maybe, just maybe, a few less dollars for our healthcare premiums. Theoretically, this works. In reality, lazy fat America continues to make my health insurance cost more
