I want to have get together with my friends for my birthday and was thinking a dinner in Washington's Georgetown would be great...considering the number of guests it can't be too expensive, and also because of the number of people, I would like a private group room so that everyone can hear everyone. Suggestions? Thanks!|||there is an Ethiopian place on M and 29th i think...it's called Zed's Ethiopian i believe
i'm not totally sure how accommodating they are to large groups but there is definitely enough room for 13 and they seem nice there so I am sure if you rang up in advance they would happily sort you out
it's a bit of fun and the food is easily shared, which i think is always nice for a group to do
you eat everything using these fluffy pancake style things instead of knives and forks.
definitely check it out
then you should all walk a couple block over for some frozen yogurt from Ice Berry for dessert!|||There's Harmony Cafe on M Street, which is a sort of pan-Asian type place. It doesn't have a private room, but it is a fairly small restaurant, and they can seat 13. I only ever see one woman in the place, and I've heard there's maybe one or two people cooking in the back. If you go at an unusual time--like, not on a Friday night--you may be able to hear each other.
