i really need money for college it costs $60,000 a year my parents are really really poor and on welfare i got no scholarships at all even though i applied for 300+ i've applied for every job i can think of but no one wants to hire me not even mcdonalds the prostitutes in this area make lots of money even the cheap ones and i'm much prettier than them girls would you do it?|||im so glad im not an american... :( that's so expensiv.. apply for alternative courses?? do u hav government supported adult colleges over there? here we can pay a few K a year n go to gov adult college.. and even apprenticeships prostitution will drag u into the lifestyle forever.. and even if u get to the point when u'v fooled urself to believing its empowering and pays so well, u are sacrificing something that u cannot get back.. and that is ur soul.. im not being a tool its just tru.. when u sell your body, your company, your smile and put on a personality when u hav to work, its taxing on your emotions and your soul.. it drowns u of ur spirit.. u learn to manipulate, learn to "deal" with ppl's crap, n basically switch on n off your personality to suit work. instead of putting on a uniform, u put on another personality. and trust me u cannot just "be yourself" in the adult industry. you always hav to put up a mask. and that mask you wear? it will stick tighter and tighter.. until one day the secrets you keep from your friends family and the soul you'v lost consumes u and make yourself believ that u hav a great life, but as soon as u stop working, u'll feel like death. prostitution wil consume u. lets not even mention the danger and disease factors. it is physically demanding. think about having sex for 8 hours. every day for 4 days in a week. normally u'd proly get an hour a day 3 times a week with a bf. try it with a guy. see if u can handle it. try it with a 64 year old guy. smell him. run ur fingers through his grey pubic hair. think about having to listen to some guy winging about his wife. go and pick an average guy off the street and sleep with him. see how that feels. same goes with being a stripper. u hav to go n put on a smile and switch on and off for work. and that is emotionally and psychologically damaging. its not worth the money.|||No dont do that! i would say be a stripper, my friend is a stripper and is paying for college with that ...they make just as much ands i legal, and if u get aressted bye bye furture jobs, most dont take ppl with criminal records...and u dont have to have sex with them. The physical dangers are obvious-- STDs, aids, unwanted pregnancies, physical scars from sexual acts, etc. The emotional dangers are far worse. Girls in the prostitution industry are more often than not left with emotional scars that last a lifetime. Most experience severe depression and the psychological pain that comes from being used, mistreated, and forced upon over and over and over again. Many prostitution situations become difficult or impossible to escape on an emotional and physical level. In other words, prostitution is closely linked to slavery. Please. You HAVE other options. Do not do this for yourself. Do not feed into this vial, dangerous, and illegal industry.|||it all depends on you as a person, and you're mental state of mind and self-esteem. i personally do not believe it's wrong to use your body for money, people do that in every single occupation that is out there. however, prostitution is not for the weak-hearted, and it is a VERY big decision to come to. you need to emotionally detach yourself from your body during each and every expierence or "job" you go through. if you are comfortable in your ability to do that, then i suppose it's your choice. sexual intercourse is just as meaningful as it is to the people who are engaging in it. you will want to be wary of STDs though, and it may cause issues in future relationships. i don't think i'd ever be able to make that decision for myself, but it is up to you, and whatever your decision, stand by it, and don't let people hold it over you. good luck. i'm sorry you are in this situation.
