I've applied to countless scholarships of all different types, big and small, and am yet to win one; Of course I'll fill out FAFSA, but I would like to get scholarship money to make schooling easier, since I'll be in it for sooo long. I've even resorted to eating at McDonalds constantly to try and win Monopoly! lol. I have a 4.0, lots of extra curric, top ten percent, National Honors Society, National Honors Program, several awards and merits, financial need, but NOBODY wants to give me money!!! Help :(|||Looks like you are a very Intelligent woman. Might have to go the student loan road initially until you can show the school what you are made of for the scholarship. Is there a particular reason that you are being turned down for the scholarship money? It's hard to believe that there isn't someone out there willing to give you one with your grades and extra curricular activities. McDonald's probably adds weight, not money to your pockets. You have probably gone on line and searched for scholarships and funding. If you haven't try that. Be persistent and reapply to the schools that you want to attend. Send them a full packet of your qualifications (i.e. transcripts, awards, letters from teachers). I am sure someone out there will notice. Instead of sending the packet to administration, send it straight to the Dean of Students, they have more clout. Don't give up your dream or aspirations. You can't save time, so spend yours wisely. Ask your relatives if they can lend you some money for now and then do well in college, get a good job and pay them back 3 or 4 fold one day.|||Apply for a good job, borrow money from family or friends, get a loan. Good luck!|||Join the military, they pay your way....thats what i did :) Become an officer... they dont go over seas alot and they dont fight in the war. Get a job or something then :)
