He was a really good athlete in high school and was a 2 time high school all american and was a really good football player. He was offered a full scholarship to University of texas to play football and baseball. He's not the best player ever but he's 31 and played 12 years in the minors before getting actually major league playing time. Do you think its cool Darnell Mcdonald could of played college football at a top 5 football school and they said he could of made the nfl?|||Tod Helton was a starting QB at Tennessee till he got hurt and was replaced Peyton Manning, who's father Archie played baseball at Ole Miss before he played Football.|||Did you know that Brett Favre would have gone to college to play baseball, but he decided on football. He recieved 5 varsity letters in baseball. I don't know how he got five in one sport, but his profile states that. He got many baseball scholarships, but only one football scholarship, which was to play defensive back. He took the football one and converted to a qaurterback.|||I didn't know that .
