Here are some of the Best that I know of. 1789/American Cuisine Asia Nora/New Asian Cuisine Citronelle/American Cuisine Occidental/Very Historic Restaurant with very fine cuisine Jaleo/Elegant Spanish Food Palena/Great Italian Cuisine Tabard Inn/American Cuisine The Willard Room/French and very elegant.|||Another restaurant that requires a coat for gentleman is the Prime Rib.|||The answers above should be helpful, but note that Jaleo - while a fine restaurant - is not particularly elegant. It's loud and a touch chaotic, and many people dress casually. Tabard Inn is a bit nicer, but does not require dressing up. 1789 does require a jacket, as does the Prime Rib. I don't think the other places mentioned require a jacket, but most patrons dress up.
