suggestions?|||Part of the problem will be having dropped out of high school. Many employers won't hire people who dropped out. Look into getting your GED or its Canadian equivalent.

Job objective doesn't say much. You could tailor it to each resume you send out. Should say what KIND of job you are looking for.

I'd put the education below the job history section, along with the honors

I suppose it's a silly question to ask why YOU are supporting your boyfriend, why HE doesn't have a job also.

Good luck|||Seeking an entry level position in ________ie Food Service or Retail Marketing might make it more specific. Keep it on computer file so you can change it for different prospects.

That would be under Objective.|||I would suggest that you build this as a skills based resume - i.e.

Qualifications:

Customer Service
Experienced in working in an environment when quick service is key.
Proficient in custodial arts.
Experienced in efficient quality control.

Etc....

You then list the places you've worked one on line below - i.e.

McDonalds, City, ON Date Range

Above that is education and below is accomplishments. For more examples, you can find this sort of resume anywhere online but it lays out your skills right there for HR so they don't read your most recent experience and put the resume aside.

|||Your academic honors are quite impressive. Highlight them in some way if you can. Maybe move them towards the top. Also, unless your objective is more interesting than "to get a job at your establishment" I would just skip it because it is obvious. Why else would you be sending in a resume?

EDIT
MS word has resume templates you can access through "help" and type in "templates" or just try this link, hope it works:
