Since most Americans think it's "freedom of speech" to call an entire country of Serbia "genocidal" and a "huge disappointment" etc.

If u dont find her funny self sensor her by not watching.|||She's annoying and I don't find her funny, but she has the right to say whatever she wants.
Some of them are okay, some aren't. It's whatever.|||I don't really understand your question. Should Chelsea Handler be allowed to make 09/11 jokes? Absolutely because we live in a free society, but should she do it? Is another question. I would say that it would depend on the context. I've heard comics tell stories about their family members passing away or funerals that were of course very sad for them but they also managed to find humor in. Where as I think the "jokes" you posted are ridiculously offensive and I can't even believe that you would post them on here. but again it's a free country and you are "allowed" to do so.
Like I said the "context" is what's important. You posted things making fun of the people dying. I actually listened to what Chelsea Handler said and she never made fun of genocide. In fact one of the other people on her panel only said Serbia was a country that had genocide. but didn't joke about it.
If Serbia or any other country said something along the same lines about America being a disappointment or said something that was bad in American history but factual. Would I be offended no because they have a right to say whatever they want just as I'm free to disagree with it.|||For me, NO! It is rude and unkind to mock such an event! This person should be ashamed of making jokes that could cut right into the hearts of people who were affected by 9/11. Yes, I know, we have freedom of speech, but it's just not moral - and I believe that law has to have a moral aspect to be good.|||Chelsea Handler has the right as an American citizen to benefit from the First Amendment (free speech).

You don't have to agree with what she says, but she still has the right to say it as long as it doesn't endanger other people.

Over the centuries, human beings have found tremendous relief in humor, and eventually, even tragedy is game for humor.

Just be glad we don't have a facist government....
