international house: I'm from Greece I'm almost 17 years old an i want to be a model..... and not just a model...... i want to work for international houses such as d&g, prada, gucci etc. What is the best way to start a modelling carrer..... How should i contact agencies? Where should i have pictures of me taken? etc..|||Hey.....my sister did modeling in Orlando, FL in the US. This is what she did. 1. Get professional phots done. Black and Whites. You'll pick from about 30 poses in different outfits. Get one full length and several headshots in 8x10 size. Get copies made at a copy company, at least 25 of each shot. These will be your "busines card" On the back have the printer print your stats, experience, goals, etc... 2. Send these to several agents. A true agent works for a percent of the money from jobs they get you. Don't fall for the "modelling school" thing. It's a scam. It's OK to have more than one agent. Then they will compete to get you jobs. 3. Wait patiently. Go on whatever interviews they can set up for you. 4.
