Me and a couple of my friends have been having a very long arguement over whether IHOP is a fast food restaurant or not so what do you think? Is IHOP (International House Of Pancakes) a fast food restaurant?|||No.-|||IHop isn't a fast food restaurant. You can tell the difference. Regular restaurants have menus and a waiter or waitress to serve you.|||no ihop is a chain restaurant. it has waiters and you sit down to eat like at a normal restaurant but there are many ihop locations, like a fast food restaurant, which makes it a chain.|||I wouldn't consider it fast food at all. Sure it is a national chain, but its like Red Lobster or the Olive Garden. Someone takes your order, and you are served. Sounds like a sit down restaraunt to me :)|||Fast food does not have a wait staff or need for a tip and often has a to-go option. IHOP is considered a sit-down restaurant.|||I wouldn't say so.
